Professional Panelists are:

Debra Dennis, CMA, Controller, Dennis Company
Debra spent 14 years of her career as the Controller of Anchor Bank as a direct report to the CFO.  She’s been a CMA, since 2010.  Anchor Bank was a mutual bank until its IPO in January 2011.   She was instrumental in leading a team of professionals in SEC quarterly reporting (10Q) and annual reporting (10K).  Previous to being the Controller, Debra was a commercial loan officer for 5 years, managing director of a specialty chemical manufacturing plant and spent the first decade after graduating OSU as an accountant for Fred Meyer and for family owned hardware stores.

Dr. Ted J Takamura, PhD, CPA , CFE, Professor, Multnomah University
Ted has been an inspirational business professor with heart-felt success stories from students at Warner Pacific University (14 yrs) and Eastern Oregon University (16 yrs) and Multnomah University (3 yrs).  Ted has been an IMA member for 30 years volunteering as a Portland Chapter IMA Board member.  Most recently, Ted served on the Global IMA Board.

Erik Parrish, CPA, CMPE, Fractional CFO at Kernutt Stokes LLP 
Erik has lived in Oregon since 1981 and been an IMA Member for over 2 years. Erik is a CMA candidate with over 15 years of public and private accounting experience and maintains his CPA license. In 2017, Erik was named Portland Business Journal’s CFO of the Year for Medium Private Companies. In 2017, Erik joined Kernutt Stokes to start a Virtual Accounting Department offering a full-service accounting department to small and medium companies & organizations. In 2019, the AICPA named Erik as one of five Innovative CPA’s in the United States for his work in Virtual Accounting and Fractional CFO Services.

Rosie Lee, Business Development Manager, Creative Financial Staffing
Moved to Oregon in the 4th grade, started school in Philomath and finished at Lebanon High School graduated in ’07. Went to Chemeketa & LBCC for a while and ultimately finished her degree at University of Hawaii-West Oahu. Moved back to the PNW in 2017, and has been with CFS for almost 2yrs. She became involved with IMA events because it’s a great place to network with leaders and understand/learn more about the industry of accounting/finance as (CFS) specializes finding our clients top accounting/finance professionals from very entry level up to CFO level. Some of the roles we help our clients fill are for internships, project work, interim work, and of course finding that Rockstar to become a permanent member of their accounting/finance team.

Anne Marie Johnson, CMA, Controller, Curaleaf Oregon
Anne-Marie is a Certified Management Accountant currently serving as Director of Finance for Curaleaf Oregon, a publicly traded Cannabis company.  She has a BA from Northern Michigan University where she majored in Entrepreneurship.

Mike Williams, CMA, CPA, CGMA, VP of Operations, Audio Precision
Mike oversees all aspects of the Accounting, Administration, Manufacturing and Financial services areas.  Additionally, he is responsible for the Information Technology and Human Resources groups, oversees Risk Management and banking, compliance, fixed assets and is Secretary of the Corporation. Mike received his MBA from the University of Portland, and earned a BS degree in Business Administration from OSU.  He is a CGMA (Chartered Global Manufacturing Accountant), CPA active in Oregon and a CMA.

Kevin McAdams, CMA, MBA, Controller and Director of Finance for De Paul Treatment Centers based in Portland.
Kevin has a finance degree from Univ of Oregon, an MBA – Accounting emphasis from Santa Clara University and is a Certified Management Accountant. (CMA).  Kevin was with Wayne-Dalton/Overhead Door for over 15 years starting as a Cost Accountant and moving up to Western Regional Controller covering 15 states. Kevin also worked with Knowledge Universe for 8 years as Sr Director of Finance and Business Development and lead effort in building a $150M corporate child care business segment that was ultimately sold to private equity.  For the last 3 years, Kevin has been at De Paul Treatment Centers where he led effort to turnaround a 60 year -old non-profit from bankruptcy to financial and operational long -term viability and is currently expanding service footprint to additional facilities.
