ACCOUNTING:
In recognition of our 40 years of business and our long time commitment to serve our communities, AKT, a Top 100 Accounting Firm nationwide, will be offering a scholarship to an outstanding business student. The AKT Family of Companies is a broad financial services organization from traditional accounting, auditing and tax compliance to business valuation, management consulting, financial due diligence, international tax planning, and employee benefit and retirement plan services. Our firm works closely with business owners and individuals to manage their financial, wealth and tax planning strategies.

2. Moss Adams Diversity Scholarship (see attached flyer) $3,500, Due March 31st and reaching out to sophomores interested in accounting as a major
Eligibility:
We’re seeking bright and ambitious sophomores who have approximately three years remaining in their coursework and a strong desire to pursue both an accounting degree and a career in public accounting.We’ll select students based on a number of factors, including academic achievement, demonstrated leadership skills, extracurricular activities (particularly those in leadership roles in diversity organizations), and effective communication skills.
Qualifications include:
DEGREE Pursuing bachelor’s degree
MAJOR Accounting or related field
GPA 3.0 or higher
3. Grant Thornton Scholarship (see the three attached flyers about the scholarship) This scholarship is open to students in accounting, finance, and construction management.
ON CAMPUS VISIT — OFFICE HOURS: THIS WEDNESDAY Berntson Porter – OSU Campus OFFICE HOURS Wednesday, March 5th, with drop in hours from 2 to 4pm in the Moss Adams conference room. They are looking to hire in the fall and want to recruit as many OSU Beavers as possible. This is a great chance for you guys to building a relationship NOT waiting until the fall.
